Sales Support Analyst

Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Sales Success, the Sales Support Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing relief and support to the sales team. The Sales Support Analyst will contribute to the overall success of the sales team by managing critical administrative tasks, coordinating cross-functional teams, and providing support to both sales representatives and managers. This position will work closely with many business units across the company and as such, requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.
To be successful in this role, the Sales Support Specialist should take initiative, be able to multi-task and proactively address issues before they arise. They should also be self-motivated and driven to achieve goals without needing constant direction.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Create and manage quotes based on architect and sales team member inputs and developed solutions.
- Collaborate with sales team members to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions.
- Contribute to overall sales enablement which includes sales processes, training, documentation, special pricing, tools, etc.
- Provide guidance and assistance with our CRM (Salesforce) to the sellers and users which may include opportunity approvals, basic Salesforce help, reporting and provide recommendations for system enhancements as it relates to sales process.
- Participate in pipeline reviews and assist sales in pipeline management and health.
- Enter and maintain customer data, sales activities and progress updates in the Salesforce.
- Ensure data integrity and manage overall opportunity health for sellers to assist in speed to close
- Act as facilitator for RFPs and significant or complicated transactions, including responsibility for facilitating rapid turnaround or response from internal business units and partners, coordinating activities and timely communication to complete
- Act as liaison for Sales Success to other functional groups at Stratix including Sales, MSAs & MSEs, Marketing, Partner team, Order Management, Customer Success, Project Management, Finance, Operations and other groups.
- Be cross trained in other Sales Success team members responsibilities for back up coverage including contract creation and review (MNDAs, MSAs, SOWs, Change Requests), Customer Reviews, Sales Kick-off preparation and execution and other important CCO and Sales Success tasks.
Requirements
The Sales Support Analyst’s minimum requirements are the following:
- BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-3 years’ work experience in sales support role preferred
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft office applications including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience with Salesforce required
- Experience in ServiceNow preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a services-based industry preferred
- Proven strength in analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts.
